And thanks to everyone who joined us as we welcomed home the 235th Sapper Engineer Co. unit. They were so appreciative and surprised! Helicopters, patriot guards, police and fire escorts, North Bay Patriots, Changing Worldviews' Operation Heartlift and MOMS and friends and family were all there for the Welcome Home Party for these brave soldiers - 62 Purples Hearts and many other medals of valor.

From MRC (Media Research Center): The Left is launching a more deceptive strategy to implement the so-called “Fairness” Doctrine under different names and without a vote in Congress. But their goal remains the same – the silencing of conservative and Christian talk radio.

Obama’s Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is preparing to use regulatory terms like “diversity,” “localism” and serving the Left’s definition of the “public interest” as new, backdoor “Fairness” Doctrines to indirectly impose radio censorship. Take Action - (H.R. 2410) Keep The U.S. From Promoting Abortion Abroad

(HR 2410) The Foreign Relations Authorization Act for 2010 and 2011 is scheduled to be on the U.S. House floor this Wednesday, June 10th. If passed this bill will establish an Office of Global Women’s Issues within the State Department, which will actively participate in abortion advocacy around the world.

Recently Hillary Clinton told Congress that she believes that reproductive rights are a fundamental policy goal as well as a reproductive right. Under Hillary Clinton the State Department's new Office of Global Women’s Issues will carry out her beliefs in nations around the world.

Take Action - Stop The Abortion Bailout

Susan B. Anthy List -- Pres. Obama released his 2010 Budget recommendations in which he called for the repeal of the Dornan Amendment. This is a longstanding law that has prevented taxpayer-funded abortion in the District of Columbia. The District of Columbia has the highest abortion rate in the country. The Alan Guttmacher Institute reports that nearly half of all pregnancies in the District of Columbia end in abortion. It is a fallacy to suggest that giving money to abortion providers reduces abortions as Obama told Notre Dame he wants to see. To date President Obama has fulfilled 11 of the 15 policies requested by abortion groups.

-Taxpayer funding for abortions in the District of Columbia

Dept. of Homeland Security Declares Conservatives Are 'Rightwing Extremists'

According to news reports, the Department of Homeland Security is warning law enforcement officials about a rise in "rightwing extremist activity," labeling citizens opposed to new firearms restrictions, returning veterans and conservatives as "rightwing extremists" and associating them with white supremacists and violent antigovernment groups.

And this is funded by your tax dollars.

According to the federal government, characteristics of members of the suspect group of people include those who:

Oppose restrictions on firearms
Oppose lax immigration
Oppose the policies of President Obama regarding immigration, citizenship and the expansion of social programs
Oppose continuation of free trade agreements
Oppose same-sex marriage
Has paranoia of foreign regimes
