In the midst of all the issues our nation and world are facing; and the personal difficulties each of us face in life, the next generation is facing challenges our generation never has. While there are many good parents carefully watching over their children, our society is moving in a direction that is not family-friendly; not morally or spiritually safe; not economically secure; nor freedom sure. America's classrooms, for the most part, are on the wrong side of these proven, essential 'ingredients' that help put children on the path towards personal, relational and life success. Add to that the millions of children who are homeless, caught in human trafficking or slavery around the world and here at home, there is no doubt that our responsibility as adults is huge. While our heartbeat for children is ongoing, this month we are emphasizing the need for all of us to get involved in order to make a difference in the lives of children. This month we'll be highlighting things you can do, and one thing you can do right now is make a donation to Changing Worldviews for Operation ARC - so we can send a check to those with 'boots on the ground' who are rescuing children in greatest need.
